Dave's Daily Dump

Hurtin'

by David Guido
Played a few good games of Ultimate today with the gang, but I think I jacked up my back pretty good. I was sore enough from yesterdays motocross ride, now I'm pretty much dying. I'm on my way to the jacuzzi.

Jammed Fingers

by David Guido
Jammed two of my fingers playing Ultimate Frisbee. One is my ring finger and you should see how swollen and black & blue it is. It looks absolutely horrible, but it doesn't hurt much at all.

Tricia rented Riding in Cars with Boys on DVD. It was surprisingly funny. I think Steve Zahn might be one of my favorite
actors now. He cracked me up in Saving Silverman and That Thing You Do.

Rocket Sauce Logo

by David Guido
Played a few hard games of Ultimate. They were really hard because of yesterday's ride.

Ian and I are thinking of making t-shirts with the new Rocket Sauce logo I made for the crew.

Night-Time Ultimate

by David Guido
Starting the season off a little early with some night-time Ultimate Frisbee. We've played the last few Mondays, fighting with the soccar players and little leaguers for the field. I think we have the lights arranged for the next few weeks. It was a great game tonight.

Here are more details if you're interested.

Ultimate, Gas and Logos

by David Guido
Played Ultimate in Irvine again. I'm starting to get the hang of it a little more. I made some pretty stupid throws in the beginning, then I started to relax more and my game improved. It's still not as fun, but it's a good workout.

Gas is down to a whopping 95 cents a gallon!!! It's just unbelievable. I just feel like... driving... somewhere! It's even cheaper in some gas stations, but I'm talking about Chevron here, where it's usually a little more expensive than the others. Very cool.

I created a page for My Logos. I have more made, but they're on my computer at work. I'll put them up soon.

Ultimate in Irvine

by David Guido
I played Ultimate Frisbee with the guys in Irvine again. Boy did I get my ass kicked. I made a couple of pretty bad mistakes and they have no problem with rubbing it in my face. Not to mention I went from being one of the best players with our usual crowd, to a very mediocre player with these guys. I'm into it now. But more for the challenge if anything.

Serious Ultimate

by David Guido
Played Ultimate Frisbee with the guys in Irvine for the first time. Wow, what a completely different game. First of all, they're really good. Secondly, they're not afraid to let you know how good they are. So, it's not as fun, but definitely more challenging.

Tape on the Shin

by David Guido
Had a doctors appointment with Dr. Punim (Tricia's doctor) to look at the leg. He said it was healing pretty nicely and there are no signs of infection, but to keep the tape on there for a few more days. Have to come back on Friday.

Also played a kick-ass game of Ultimate Frisbee with the gang (we've been playing once a week for 3 years). Despite the big bandage on my shin, I still kicked Jerry's butt.

BTW, it's a pain in the ass to sit in a jacuzzi with one leg hanging out.
