With a history dating back to 1889, Washington Mutual is a retailer of financial services with over $350 Billion in assets and more than 2,600 retail banking, mortgage lending, commercial banking and financial services offices throughout the nation.
Interaction Design
I currently work for WaMu as a Senior Interaction Designer, but specialize in Information Architecture. I started off working on the Home Loans web sites, then moved over to the main corporate site, wamu.com.
My work at WaMu impacts the web experience of millions of online bankers every day. My most notable projects include the participation in a multi-million dollar corporate site redesign and the lead design position for our industry leading online account application, which requires no offline process, has won multple awards and #1 ratings, and has driven over a billion dollars in business.
