Not necessarily a client, theSupplyChain.com is a company I co-founded in June of 1999. We started off with a team of four and had to wear many hats. I was primarily responsible for the identity and interactivity of the company web site and the user interface design of its web-based products. Below is merely a small sample of everything I've done while at this company.
Identity
The original logo I made was designed in somewhat of a hurry. We needed something fast to get us going. I thought it was a pretty good logo until I found out that everyone and their grand mother had a logo with a swoosh in it.
The next logo was much better. With the help of Alan Hung, we designed a logo that is much more original and fitting for an upstart software company. This logo looked well on the corporate stationary, business cards, the web site, and all of the marketing paraphernalia that we gave away.

50 Bucks
I directed the design for this ad in September of 2000. The ad promoted the scProfessional
product to small businesses and won an award for
"Outstanding Readership Response" by Ad-Q Studies.

How Many Systems?
This ad was originally designed for a 7"x2" banner on a poster filled with
different steps in the supply chain, each step requiring different types
of software. We wanted to show that only one software package was neccessary... ours!
The ad later turned into a half-page ad and received a great response.

Web Site Design
theSupplyChain.com
Part of the evolution process of a startup is finding your nitch. With that in mind, we've changed our product
line and company focus several times. Based on a ton of research and on the
fact that most of our web site visitors are tier-1 companies, we've decided to give the site a more
corporate appeal.
Online Demo
This demo is a 19-paged slide show that gives just a glance of what the
product offers. I used a magnifying glass to focus in on certain sections, leaving the
rest of the user interface out of focus because we've had a lot of problems with copycats.
Here are just 3 of the 19 slides:
scProfessional
scProfessional is basically one of the products of theSupplyChain.com. Users can log in and have complete
control of their inventory and supply-chain functionality.
The site has evolved first from SupplierDrive, then from Small Business Express.
Small Business Express
The Small Business Express was an experimental project for theSupplyChain.com.
It was designed to get our product into the SME market and has since been rolled up
into scProfessional. The Small Business Resource Center remained for a while.
3PI Farm Products
3PI is strictly a demo site, but with the live product working in the background. It was made specifically to showcase
the products of theSupplyChain.com by demonstrating how a company can easily and immediately benefit from our products.
Project Date: June 1999 - September 2003
