About David Guido
I consider myself to be extremely fortunate because my ‘job,’ such as it is, simply entails doing what I love. I call myself a designer as it’s a nice umbrella term for the user experience / interaction design / information architect work that I do.
Currently, I manage a small group of designers at Bank of America. With over 20 years of experience, my passion is to analyze, design and implement innovative user-centered solutions built with current web standards, and always with your users in mind. I'm a critical thinker with a good design sense, a strong technical background, and an eye for making things better.
I've maintained a journal of sorts at Dave's Daily Dump for over 10 years to keep track of the things I do and interesting things I find. I mostly update this because my long-term memory is absolutely abysmal, so I tend to overdocument things sometimes.
I have a genuine love for the outdoors. I drag my wife, 3 kids, and the dog out to do as much camping and water sports as possible. I race downhill mountain bikes, I climb big mountains, and I have a passion for photography and art. Back in the day I used play a lot of ultimate frisbee, shred the streets on a skateboard, and breakdance for Project 5 in Cleveland, Oh.
I can usually be found looming around these parts...
